The Model Experience LA Fashion Week Event March 22'
Design process for 10 piece collection.
Inspo and rough draft sketching.
95% of garments were created from second hand material, or handmade textiles.
Denim jacket fully made with scrap denim pieces, all bound together by wash-off pellon adhesive and repetitive stitch work. See video for example.
Product sampling
Dress created from four scrapped knit sweaters, top overlay made with handmade textile using yarn and multi-stitch method on washable pellon.
Vest fully made with repurposed crotchet squares pieces, all hand stitched together piece by piece.
Yarn stitched strand by strand.
Two piece made with second-hand denim.
Hand-dyed denim with rainbow multi-stitch detailing, and rainbow yarn side panel.
Entire jacket & pant made from upcycled crotched blanket.
